What do we do?
The Lyceum Youth Theatre helps participants to build a range of skills including improvisation, devising, voice and speech, characterisation and movement as well as how to work effectively within a group, developing communication skills and building self confidence. The groups perform regular sharing events in local venues, regional festivals and at the National Association of Youth Theatre events. The Lyceum Youth Theatre is extremely popular with a reputation for imaginative performance work.
Who runs the workshops?
Each youth theatre group is lead by a professional drama worker, assisted by a support worker, who are all CRB checked.
